In October and November 2022, 707 companies were forced to shut down, according to the data of BusinessMreza.mk. The comparison with the same months last year shows that more legal entities lost the business battle. In October and November last year, 634 companies locked the door. This year’s balance for the previous two months shows a growth of defunct companies of 11.5%.
In October 2022, 339 legal entities were closed, in contrast to the same month last year, when 264 were closed. However, already in November there is almost the same number of defunct companies as last November. Namely, last month 368 companies were closed, and last November 370 companies shut down. The analysis by sectors shows that both last year and this year most companies closed in trade. Last year, 145 trading companies were closed in the period October – November, while 189 were closed this year.
