14 civil society organizations and associations united in the HIV Platform along with the Women’s Rights Initiative of Shuto Orizari and the ESE Association react to the draft healthcare budget for the coming year 2023. According to these organizations, the Government proposed a shameful budget without any analysis and in a non-transparent procedure, which the Parliament adopts without substantial interventions.
“In times of crisis, the Government completely neglects the health of citizens. Such carelessness will be a matter of life and death for many of our loved ones. The Government also forgot the internationally undertaken obligations to ensure that by 2025 at least 95% of people living with HIV will be diagnosed and will be provided with access to antiretroviral therapy,” reads the reaction of civil society organizations.
