For official expenses, last year the Government spent money as much as for 5 ambulances or for the renovation of an entire school. 270,000 euros in one year were spent on expensive flights, VIP lounge services, catering in bars and restaurants in the country and abroad, said spokesperson of VMRO-DPMNE Marija Miteva on Friday.
“Only at the height of the COVID-19 crisis, dozens of fellow citizens lost their lives due to the lack of equipment in a large number of health care institutions. Yes, this money, instead of feasts in VIP salons, could have been used for the purchase of appropriate ambulances if the ministers and the prime minister gave up their privileges,” Miteva said.
