Macedonian Deputy Prime Minister FatmirBytyqi informed on Wednesday that the funds collected from the extra profit tax, which would be introduced once, only for 2022, will be used to deal with the crisis.
“We don’t get this money for anything. We will use them to deal with the crisis. At the end of the day, we may be using them precisely to support investment by companies to help them in their crisis management efforts,” Bytyqisaid.
This tax, as the minister noted, will apply only to the profit made this year and is higher than the four-year average, and it is expected to cover several thousand companies.
