After one day, the decision for free public transport, which was adopted as one of the set of measures of the City of Skopje to reduce air pollution, ceased to be valid.
JSP Skopje informed that as of Wednesday there will be ticket collection again in the city buses.
“According to the data from the State Monitoring System for Ambient Air Quality on December 26,2022, the average daily concentrations of PM10 suspended particles are below the defined alarm threshold of 150 mg/m3, and the episode of two consecutive days has been interrupted in Skopje and the recommendations and measures for exceeding the alarm threshold cease to be valid,” said JSP.
