The official Facebook page of the OSCE Mission in Skopje was recently hacked. We have already taken all necessary steps to report the attack to Facebook’s management team and until it is resolved, any posts or messages received from the hacked page are not authorized by the OSCE, the OSCE said.
This incident is another reminder of the cyber-threats in today’s digital age, which without exception affect private businesses, government and international organizations, the OSCE statement said.
The Facebook page of the OSCE Mission in Skopje was hacked yesterday.
“The OSCE confirms that the Facebook page of the OSCE Mission in Skopje has been hacked. Please note that all messages coming from that account are not authorized by the OSCE until further notice,” the OSCE stated.
After it was hacked, the page of the OSCE Mission in the country has been renamed to “Đỗ Thị Thanh Tâm”.
