The Macedonian Ministry of Interior will coordinate with the Public Prosecutor’s Office and decide whether to file criminal charges against the Bulgarian national Viktor Stojanov, who on Saturday, in a Facebook post, threatened to request information about the identity of a Macedonian police officer that the Macedonian public considered an immediate threat.

The head of the Bulgarian Foundation “Macedonia” offered payment to find out information about the name and surname of the border police officer from Deve Bair, which can be understood as a threat to the life of the police officer and his family, but also for enticing hate speech.

“I will pay 200 euros for the name and family of this Macedonian police officer,” wrote Stojanov on Facebook.
