Pendarovski offers condolences to Erdogan after devastating earthquake

Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski offered his condolences to the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, after the devastating earthquake that struck the country Monday morning.

“I offer my deepest condolences to the families of the deceased, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Turkish people in these difficult moments after the terrible earthquake that hit Turkey. I wish the injured a speedy recovery,” Pendarovski said in a Facebook post.

More than 2.200 people have been killed in Syria and Turkey in a devastating earthquake near the southern Turkish city of Gaziantep early this morning. The death toll is expected to go up.
