The minimum wage will probably be around MKD 20,500 next month in the private and public sector, and those funds are provided for in the Budget for 2023. However, in order to have equality, salaries in the state administration should also be increased linearly by 2,000 denars, funds that are provided for in all institutions, said the Macedonian Minister of Economy Kreshnik Bekteshi on Tuesday.
If a legal solution is to be adopted for this, Bekteshi is convinced that all political parties will provide support.
According to the economy minister, the Ministry of Finance has made all the necessary calculations and is ready to realize the increase of the minimum wage and the salary of administrative officials.
