The Health Insurance Fund of North Macedonia (HIF) said that in the coming days the systems that were recently hacked will be gradually restored and that the process is taking additional time, but the technical teams are working continuously.
“The analysis of the expert technical teams determined that during the cyber-attack there was no leakage of data outside the databases. Today, the fund also sent a notice to all public and private healthcare institutions with detailed instructions for checking the insured through My Term, so that no insured person may be denied the right to health care. The priority is to restore the functionality for the payment of salaries of health workers in public health institutions, as well as the systems of payment of sick leave, maternity leave and refunds,” informed the HIF.
