Experts testify at the Tetovo modular hospital fire trial

With the testimony of two nurses, the parents of a one of the hospitalized deceased, two relatives of people who received hospital treatment, as well as three experts, the trial of the fire in the Tetovo modular hospital that happened on September 8 when 14 people lost their lives, 2021 continued Thursday in the Tetovo Basic Court.
The court was addressed by an electrical engineer employed in the Department of Forensic-Technical Examination and Expertise at the Ministry of Interior, who, as the chief inspector in the Department for Fires, Explosions and Explosive Devices, participated in the inspection together with representatives of the Tetovo Police Department and the Prosecutor’s Office on September 9, 2021.
The expert explained how the fire started, for which a laboratory test was also done. It was determined that the extension cable that caught fire earlier had mechanical damage.
