In the fourth quarter of 2022, the purchase and sale of agricultural products amounted to MKD 9,344 billion (EUR 152 million) and compared to the same period of the previous year, they have increased by 23.1 percent, the State Statistics Office (SSO) informed on Thursday.
In the purchase of agricultural products from individual producers, an increase of 29 percent was recorded, while in the sale of agricultural products of own production, a growth of 6.9 percent.
The increase was observed for all products, except for grapes, where there was a decrease of 32 percent, and for cattle, where the decrease was for 11.7 percent. The biggest increase in the purchase is for grain of 240 percent.
