Growth of the Macedonian GDP to be 2.0 percent this year, the EBRD predicts

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has updated its economic forecasts for the regions it covers and the estimates for North Macedonia are that GDP growth in 2022 was 2.5 percent, this year it will be 2.0, and in the next 3.0 percent.

As the EBRD announced, the estimate for the Macedonian GDP for 2022 has decreased by 0.2 percent, and for this year by 0.3 percent compared to the last report from September last year.

For the region of the Western Balkans, it is estimated that GDP growth last year was 3.0 percent, this year it will be 2.2, and in 2024 it will reach 3.4 percent.
