The result of their historical illiteracy is the national defeats that are happening to the Macedonian people and that is why we are against the entry of the Bulgarians into the constitution, said the vice-president of VMRO-DPMNE Aleksandar Nikoloski in an interview with Radio Leader.
Nikoloski says that even if the Bulgarians are included to the Macedonian Constitution tomorrow, as long as there is a corrupt government, Macedonia will not start the EU negotiations.
“A top EU politician does not sit at the same table with a corrupt politician. If tomorrow we find a theoretical way to change the Constitution and let the Bulgarians be included, the day after tomorrow there will be a new veto, I guarantee you,” said Nikoloski, and repeated VMRO-DPMNE’s position that the party’s MP group will not vote for Constitution amendments for the inclusion of Bulgarian nationals to it.
