The vice president of VMRO-DPMNE Aleksandar Nikoloski, in an inrerview with Radio Leader, spoke about the huge debt of one billion and 600 million euros that the Government is planning for 2023 alone, which he said was far above the budget deficit.
“In total, for 11 years, Macedonia is owed one billion and 500 million euros, and these bandits are now taking one billion and 600 million in one year. For the year 2023 alone, the Government’s plan for borrowing is a staggering, unimaginable billion and 600 million euros, which is borrowing far above the budget deficit. I always simplify things, and this is the following. With such serious borrowing, the citizens should consider whether at least one infrastructural facility is being built around them by the state, and if it is not the local self-government. The mayors from the ranks of VMRO-DPMNE are trying to work as much as they can with all the problems,” Nikoloski pointed out.
