A 127m2 store located on the Makedonija Street owned by Veton Grubi is worth half a million euros. Where did this money come from, considering that ETC Travel has been operating at a loss for years?, asked VMRO-DPMNE MP Mile Lefkov in a press briefing on Tuesday.
According to data from the Central Registry, the company has a loss of just under 100,000 denars in the period from 2016 to 2020. In 2016, the loss was 540,000 denars, and in 2017, 2018 and 2019, it operated with a profit of 1 million 640 thousand denars, so that in 2020 it ended with a loss of 1 million and 555 thousand denars, that is, in total, in 4 years the company has no generated profit, but it is in the minus of 100 thousand denars.
“As a company that has not only had no profit for 4 years, but is also in the red, can it get a loan, as they say in a press release, for the purchase of business space worth half a million euros?,” asked Lefkov.
