As of Saturday, the bakery industry will start delivering white and semi-white bread for 33 MKD, but it will also initiate legal proceedings to recover the damage it suffers from the Government’s decision to freeze bread prices.
As Goran Malishikj, the president of the Bakery Industry Group, stated at the Economic Chamber of Macedonia, the companies respected the support measures as much as possible, and the Government made an unconstitutional and illegal decision that will cause them damage of over EUR 4.5 million by May 31.
