The hypocrisy of Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski towards the citizens reflects his entire rule, namely he adopted a measure that even the Government does not respect, while presenting himself as a savior in a situation where he allowed everything to become more expensive in Macedonia, said VMRO-DPMNE on Sunday.
“Kovachevski buys bread fort the Government at a price that is 30 to 100 percent more expensive than the price that he himself prescribes, i.e. he pays 41.4 MKD for 450 grams of white bread, and for white bread with an extended period he pays just under 80 MKD”, the largest opposition party pointed out.
VMRO-DPMNE reminded that the party warned about the current situation a year ago, but Kovachevski did not want to protect the standard of the citizens with appropriate measures.
“Our proposed measures would have replenished and increased commodity reserves, helped producers and prevented a price shock for citizens,” reads the opposition party’s press release.
