Analyzes will be made next week and it will be determined whether the prices of sugar, jaca and rice will be frozen, Macedonian Minister of Economy Kreshnik Bekteshi said today at a press conference in the Government, adding that the prices will probably be frozen if the producers do not reduce the prices themselves.
“According to all the analyzes of the Department of Commerce and the Chambers, it is determined that most companies use the maximum margin and are in some way united so as not to reduce their profits. That’s why we decided to go with a price freeze. Sugar, eggs and rice are next for which analyzes will be made next week and whose prices will probably be frozen if the producers do not reduce them,” Bekteshi said.
