The State Commission for Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) is opening a case for the supervision of the construction of the highways on corridors 8 and 10, which was awarded to the company IRD, and three other companies were selected as subcontractors.

According to the SCPC, the information published in the media should be verified that the company Eptisa, which is one of the subcontractors, had a ban from the state not to be engaged in construction inspections due to unethical and unprofessional behavior, but before the tender, the government canceled that ban.

“Considering the fact that it is a huge tender with a high value, I think it is worth waiting to receive that documentation and additionally it takes time to analyze it. They are foreign companies for which our research will be somewhat limited. If there is a need, we will try to find additional data,” the SCPC member Katica Nikolovska told TV Sitel.
