During his visit to the municipality of Ohrid on Saturday, the leader of VMRO-DPMNE Hristijan Mickoski, asked by the media regarding the government’s announcement of working groups for constitutional amendments and whether he thinks that process should continue, stressed that there will be no constitutional amendments in this parliament under Bulgarian dictation and in these circumstances, and for all this what the government is doing will also have responsibility immediately after the new VMRO-DPMNE-led government takes responsibility in the government.
“There will be no constitutional changes in this parliamentary composition under Bulgarian dictation and in these circumstances. What the government is doing is a process that will eventually hit a wall, that is, it will end unsuccessfully. Because we have been warning for a long time if you remember since last July in 2022 they decided to do what they did we warned that what they are undertaking as a commitment on behalf of all of us, they not only have no credibility but they cannot physically pass it,” Mickoski said.
