There is no end to the government’s incompetence, the Food and Veterinary Agency (FVA) cannot go out to the field and carry out inspections, because the director did not register the vehicles on time, said CvetanTripunovski from the ranks of VMRO-DPMNE in a Facebook post.
“Right now the institution that is most called upon to control and supervise the safety of food and animals has been with unregistered vehicles for more than ten days! While we witness daily how suspicious food products are withdrawn from the markets, swine fever is raging throughout the country, food is being imported that is not controlled, the inspectors have their “hands tied”, i.e. due to the lack of promptness of the director Babovski, the Agency has been left without a tender for the registration of officials,” said Tripunovski.
