It is clear and certain that North Macedonia will become a member of the European Union. By submitting the application for membership in Dublin 19 years ago, the Government chose a European future, which officially started our journey through the Brussels procedures to EU membership, said the Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Bojan Marichikj in a Facebook post.
“After 18 years of waiting, we managed to make EU membership real and secure. Now it is only a matter of making wise use of the circumstances and our readiness. We strategically positioned the state and stood on the side of European values, peace, stability and prosperity,” said Marichikj.
