After bread, pasta and some dairy products, the prices of rice and eggs have been frozen since Tuesday, and the Government is analyzing whether the wave of freezes will also cover fruits and vegetables. At the same time, the export of domestic production of chicken eggs is limited to 70 percent in order to avoid a possible imbalance in the supply and to prevent full export to the neighborhood where the price is higher.
Chambers of Commerce, on the other hand, demand that the Government stop freezing prices and find other mechanisms to help citizens, such as reducing taxes and VAT, and intervene through state reserves.
