The Macedonian Minister of Justice Krenar Loga signed the decision for non-compliance based on the received negative opinion from the Commission for the use of personal names for the use of the name Tsar Boris III in the title of the Association for the Affirmation of the Cultural Values of Macedonian Bulgarians “Tsar Boris III” – Ohrid.
The Ministry of Justice pointed out that the Commission considers that the possible naming of the association with such a name causes tensions and intolerance in the entire Macedonian society and that they are acting in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Associations and Foundations while taking into account the opinion of the Commission and then they announced that the Decision will be submitted to the Central Registry of the Republic of North Macedonia for further action.
