The head of the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) Biljana Ivanovska told Telma TV’s morning show that she had a meeting Friday morning in the Municipality of Centar, but that she has reservations about the initiative of the Centar Mayor Goran Gerasimovski, to take over the illegal constructions from the local governments, instead of demolishing them.
“We have a statement that illegal constructions will be confiscated. First of all, they are illegally made. The inspectors should have done their jobs on time. And now they decided that those constructions should stay because the municipality did not have funds for demolition,” said Ivanovska.
