After several months of vicissitudes, quarrels, dismissals, appointments, accusations of “dipping their hands in honey”, European grants, Skopje Mayor DanelaArsovska signed the contract for the construction of a sewage treatment plant in Skopje, reported Focus. Apart from the delay and strong words about the so-called wannabe mayor, one of the key results of this quarrel is the dissolution of the alliance between Arsovska and VMRO-DPMNE, the party thatsupported her in the elections.
That things are moving towards the signing of the agreement became clearer on March 22, when the European Investment Bank awarded a 70 million euro grant for the construction of the sewage treatment plant in Skopje, for which more than 200 million euros have been secured.
