The Fund for Innovation and Technological Development (FITD) announced that it submitted an application for accreditation to the Green Climate Fund (GCF). With that, FITD will become the first accredited national institution in the country, which will enable greater access to finances from GCF intended for the realization of climate program priorities and encouraging innovative, green investments.

“With this step, we are actively involved in the fight against climate change and make it clear that green investments are the focus of FITD’s work in the coming period. All of us must take a concrete step to enable a better future for us and the new generations,” FITD director FestimHalili pointed out.
