MFA prepares evacuation for Macedonian family of eight, stuck in Sudan


The Macedonian family of eight is still stuck in war-torn Sudan. As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, the family is in good health, and work is underway to evacuate them.

“After receiving the information, the MFA, through its embassy in Cairo, immediately got in touch and received confirmation that all family members are in good health. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in constant communication with colleagues from friendly countries, whose embassies are still active on the territory of Sudan. We inform you that activities are underway to ensure their immediate evacuation and transfer to a safe location from where they would later be transferred to the country,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
