Trenchevska: The promotion of workers’rights remains on the agenda of priorities


For the Government and the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, the protection and promotion of labor rights remain high on the agenda of priorities, says the Minister of Labor and Social Policy Jovana Trenchevska in her May 1st – Workers’ Day message to the public.

“The promises of continuous growth of the minimum wage have been fulfilled. During the biggest economic crisis, we increased it to 20,175 denars, which contributed to the growth of other salaries by 2,175 denars, every year in March the minimum wage will be adjusted according to the data from the State Statistics Office, namely 50% of the increase in costs for life and 50% of the increase in the average salary from the past year,” added the minister.
