On 02.05.2023, in a joint coordinated raid of police officers from the Department of Criminal Police – Sector for Illicit Trade in Narcotics, Weapons and Dangerous Substances, the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit Tigar and the Unit for Illicit Trade in Drugs and Weapons with the Skopje Police Department, 150 kilograms of the narcotic drug marijuana with a total value of around 400,000 euros were found and seized, during which four people were arrested.
“On Skupi Street around 5 pm, three passenger vehicles with Skopje license plates were stopped, namely Ford Galaxy, driven by B.Z. (44), who had the role of cleaner, Peugeot Expert, driven from R.Z. (49) where his wife J.Z. (45) was a passenger, while the third BMW vehicle was driven by their son I.Z. (19), all from Skopje,” the Ministry of Interior informed on Wednesday.
