The railway from Veles to Gevgelija will be closed for traffic between May 8 and May 20, in the period between 9 am and 7 pm, due to overhaul. As the Railway Transport Infrastructure Public Enterprise informs, on these days of the month, train number 632 on the route Gevgelija – Skopje from the starting station Gevgelija will depart with a delay of 85 minutes, that is, at 6:20 pm.
On May 14, Sunday, train 632 on the Gevgelija – Skopje route will run according to the timetable.
“Due to the performance of construction works during the realization of overhaul (change of switches) by the contractor Shtrabag on the Veles – Gevgelija railway, at Kukurichani cross (switch no. 1 and switch no. 4) and at Krivolak station (switch no. 1a, turnout no. 1 and turnout no. 5), due to the specificity of the works, it is approved to close the track by turning off the voltage in the train line from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., on the days from May 8 to 20, including Saturday,” informs the PE Railway Infrastructure.
