At the proposal of the mayor of Centar Municipality, Goran Gerasimovski, at yesterday’s meeting of ZELS, a special commission was formed that will work on implementing the Initiative for the confiscation of illegally built buildings in a new legal solution.
The newly formed commission is composed of 5 mayors and members of the Management Board of ZELS, their expert teams from the municipality and representatives from the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Ministry of Justice, whose powers include the Law on the Management of Confiscated Property, Property Benefits and Seized Items in Criminal Proceedings and the misdemeanor procedure and the Law on Dealing with Illegally Built Buildings under whose legal regulations falls the Initiative for the Confiscation of Illegal Constructions.
