We are launching the process of the digital transformation of services for citizens in respect to issuing an electronic certificate of citizenship of the Republic of North Macedonia. The citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia will be able to receive electronic or mobile citizenship certificates, Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski told a press briefing on Tuesday.
“For this purpose, as the Ministry of Interior, we adopted a Rulebook for amending and supplementing the Rulebook on the way of keeping records for the citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia and on the forms that are applied or issued. At the same time, work teams from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications and the Department of Civil Affairs, in cooperation with MoI, made it possible through the National Portal for Electronic Services, to send the request via email address or smartphone,” Spasovski said.
