The leader of opposition party VMRO-DPMNE, Hristijan Mickoski, at Wednesday’s tribune entitled “Youth policies” held in Kumanovo, warned the Macedonian public that when it comes to the question of constitutional amendments, redefining the character of Macedonia is also on the table.
“What is also a topic for a longer period are the constitutional amendments. And in that regard, I want to warn of another danger, of a new gambling and treason that pushes its way into a small door, so sideways, but perhaps beware equally dangerous, and I would say even more murderous for Macedonia in view of its existence as a unitary state,” Mickoski said.
The opposition leader points out that it is not only the Bulgarian dictation on the Constitution, without any guarantees for Macedonia, that the Government is pushing, but the opening of Pandora’s box in that regard, such as playing games with the wording of the Constitution and redefining the character of Macedonia by disrupting its unitarity.
