SDSM vice-president Fatmir Bytyqi gave a lecture to the participants of the “Political Academy for Social Democracy”, on the topic “Economic challenges of social democracy – The economic crisis and the standard of living of young people, challenges and solutions”, which was held in Ohrid, organized by The Progress Institute for Social Democracy.
Speaking about the key value motives in the creation of economic policies, Vice President Bytyqi emphasized the importance of social justice, equality, solidarity, democracy, sustainable development, as well as the protection of workers’ labor, as positive benchmarks for any Government that wants its citizens to help to achieve decent living conditions.
“Social democracy creates opportunities for personal development of citizens, protects them from the unwanted effects of environmental degradation, market disturbances, but also develops new opportunities for socially useful jobs”, disturbances, but also develops new opportunities for socially useful jobs”, Bytyqi told the participants of the “Political Academy for Social Democracy”.
