As soon as Kovachevski and the Government say that they have a majority for constitutional amendments, we call on them to submit the initiative for changes to the Constitution to the Parliament as soon as possible. Kovachevski says that he had courage, then if he hasn’t lost that courage somewhere along the way, let him dare and show up in the Parliament with this proposal, said VMRO-DPMNE in a press release on Saturday.
“Also, when Kovachevski submits the initiative for constitutional amendments, let him print a resignation letter with the same content that he prepared last time, but which Talat Xhaferi tore up. We expect him to submit his resignation immediately after the vote in the Parliament, when it is determined that the Government does not have a two-thirds majority, and thus no conditions for starting a procedure to change the Constitution,” the largest opposition party added.
