There are no more frozen prices as of June 1. The Macedonian Minister of Economy Kreshnik Bekteshi says that the analyzes showed that the real prices are even lower than the frozen ones.
Starting from July 1, there will be a new VAT for electricity. From 10% it returns to 18%, but it will be regulated with other measures, and electricity for households will not be more expensive than it is now. The price of electricity the citizens will pay in the next six months will mostly depend on the production price determined by ESM.
