The leader of the opposition VMRO-DPMNE, Hristijan Mickoski, insists on a “face-to-face” meeting with the Prime Minister and leader of the ruling SDSM, Dimitar Kovachevski, without involving the other leaders of the government coalition or party teams.
The leader of the opposition insists that the meeting should discuss the steps to be taken after the failure of the constitutional amendments. In the “360 Degrees” show on Alsat TV, Mickoski expressed his conviction that the majority does not have the numbers for constitutional amendments, and therefore we must discuss what to do next.
Regarding the demands of the Albanian parties, with the exception of DUI, SDSM assesses that now is not the time to talk about deleting the provision for 20 percent of the language spoken by one community from the Constitution, and VMRO-DPMNE does not participate in the process .
