Attorney at law Toni Menkinoski, who was found responsible for waving the “Sun from Kutlesh” flag will be arrested by the Ministry of Interior if he does not appear in court in the process being conducted against him.
This threat is contained in a document of the court in Ohrid, before which the proceedings against Menkinoski are conducted.
Menkinoski is a lawyer who has been defending Macedonians from Bulgaria pro bono for years in Strasbourg, where he participated in 16 verdicts against Bulgaria. The Ministry of Interior is prosecuting him because, as a sign of support for the defenders of the constitution, he put up the huge Macedonian ethnic flag known as the “Sun from Kutlesh” on April 27, 2023.
