After the meeting between Macedonian Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski and the leader of VMRO-DPMNE Hristijan Mickoski, SDSM started spreading hysteria that VMRO-DPMNE and the leader Mickoski accepted the proposed constitutional changes.
“This is a case of spreading hysteria and fake news from the ruling SDSM, whose leader and Prime Minister Kovachevski never took part in elections and came to the head of the Government only to implement policies to the detriment of the people and the state,” VMRO-DPMNE announced.

“Several facts show that it is about Kovachevski’s agenda. First, 70 to 80 percent of the people are against changing the Constitution and accepting ultimatums from Bulgaria. Second, Kovachevski cares more about the Deputy Prime Minister from ranks of DUI, Artan Grubi, who enables the functioning of the businesses of Kovachevski and his spouse,” added the largest opposition party.
