Macedonian Prime Minister DimitarKovachevski called on the leader of opposition VMRO-DPMNE, HristijanMickoski, to implement what was said, and not to interpret the proposals from the leaders’ meeting because the demands of the opposition are acceptable for SDSM and DUI.

“The main conclusion is that VMRO-DPMNE is not against constitutional amendments. Previously, they accused that we would have lost our language and identity if we included the Bulgarians in the Constitution. It was discussed there that VMRO-DPMNE wants to enter to be part of the Government and SDSM is ready to cede five ministerial positions. DUI instantly accepted Mickoski’s request not to participate in a Government in which VMRO-DPMNE is a member. We are giving VMRO a chance to participate in making strategic decisions for the state for the first time,” PM Kovachevski said.
