The motive was as much to prove innocence as it was to prove a new way of conducting judicial practice, defendant DragiRashkovski said Monday in his closing remarks on the “Software” case in the Basic Criminal Court Skopje.
In this whole process, the defense was the one attacking, and the Prosecution had no response to such attacks. The motto of the defense is that attack is the best defense, according to Rashkovski’s written closing words, which he forwarded to the Judicial Council and the public.
Rashkoski asked the Court to make what he called a “fair decision”.
His lawyer Vladimir Donevskipointed out that the Prosecutor’s Office did not prove with any evidence that DragiRashkovski did not fulfill his obligations in the execution of the four public procurements.
