The employees of the Public Revenue Office (PRO), with a protest on Tuesday in front of the Ministry of Finance, expressed their displeasure with the failure of the Minister of Finance Fatmir Besimi to sign the new Collective Agreement for raising their salaries.

The head of the trade union organization “Solidarity” at the PRO, Vase Nedanoski, stated that a new Collective Agreement has been drawn up, which establishes the necessary rights needed for the functioning of the administration, including the right to increase wages, which is approved by Article 66 of the Law on budgets.

The employees warn that if the Collective Agreement is not signed, which enables 30 percent higher wages, the next step is a radical strike.
