In connection with yesterday’s attack on a citizen of the Republic of North Macedonia, B.K. from Labuniste, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) calls for restraint from premature qualifications until the case is fully resolved. During the evening hours, with the person suspected of the attack, A. N. from Veleshta, an official interrogation was conducted and the public prosecutor was notified.
“This event must not cast a shadow on institutional efforts to nurture the rights and interests of smaller communities, including efforts for constitutionally-legally guaranteed rights for them, among them the Bulgarian community. We call on the public and political entities from neighboring Bulgaria to enable the institutions of the state to clear up the circumstances of the event and proceed accordingly, in accordance with the legal regulations,” said the MFA.
