Police raids in Skopje: Two people from Kosovo and Skopje arrested for illegal firearm possession


P officers from the Skopje Police Department – Illicit Trafficking Unit and the Intervention Police Unit in coordination with the Criminal Police Department – Sector for Illicit Trafficking of Narcotics, Forearms and Dangerous Substances, raided the home of G.B. (37), a citizen of Kosovo with a residence in the village of Kondovo, Skopje, and with his partner A.Gj. (34) in Skopje.
During the raid, the police found three hand grenades, one hand-held rocket launcher, one handgun, one part of a pistol, four frames from an automatic rifle, 164 bullets of different caliber and six hunting cartridges. The persons have been arrested and detained in the police station, and criminal charges will be filed against them following a fast-track procedure.
