Customs officials at the Deve Bair border crossing prevented an attempt to smuggle around 71 kilograms of marijuana Sunday evening.
“On June 18, 2023, a passenger motor vehicle with German license plates, driven by a German citizen with another person traveling with him, reported at the Deve Bair border crossing on the way out of the country. During a detailed control of the vehicle carried out by the customs officials, 67 packages of the intoxicating drug marijuana, with a gross weight of 71 kilograms, were discovered in specially made bunkers”, the Customs Administration said in a press release on Monday.
