The proposal to start the school year later, not on September 1, has not been submitted to the Government, Minister of Education and Science Jeton Shaqiri said Monday, asked whether teachers and unions have been consulted about the proposal of the Ministry of Education and Science to start the school year on September 11 to have a spring break and finish at the end of June.
The proposal has not yet been submitted to the Government. It is a discussion that started together with the unions, replied the minister, explaining that although here the new school year starts on September 1, in other countries it starts later.
