The proposal-initiative for the constitutional amendments, with which the Bulgarians and other peoples should be included in the Preamble of the Constitution, will most likely be adopted at tomorrow’s regular session of the Government.
After the working group prepared the proposal-initiative for constitutional changes, it was sent to the Government at the beginning of this month and, as it was announced then, it will be reviewed at one of the next government sessions. The expectations then were that the constitutional amendments could enter the Parliament in the middle of this month, when the deadlines for constitutional amendments will formally begin to expire.
After the Government adopts it, the initiative to change the Constitution will then be submitted to the Parliament.
