The leader of the Besa Movement, Bilal Kasami, in an interview with Euronews Albania, commenting on the events after the publication of the United States blacklist, which included the mayor of Struga Ramiz Merko, said that the leader of DUI was also “ripe” for that list.
Kasami said that Ramiz Merko is the “small fish” and assessed that the public will be shocked when the other names are revealed as well, as it was officially announced.
“In this process, I believe that the leader of DUI, Ali Ahmeti, should be blacklisted. DUI is moving continuously downward, because officials of that party stole during the twenty years in power,” Kasami said.
